Pacific Estates launches online blog

My name is Angelica Pequeno and I am the Marketing Director at Pacific Estates. I have worked here for six months in November. That certainly doesn’t seem like a long time. I want to share with you in the debut blog post of our newly designed website by created by Verge Collective what is possible when you surround yourself with the right team.

My journey here began more than a year ago when I answered an ad for a marketing assistant on craigslist. Soon, I was sitting in a group interview conducted by Stacy Morel, the CFO of Pacific Estates. I didn’t know it at the time, but soon I would make it to the coveted “short list” of applicants and well on my way to becoming part of this awesome team. My experience here has been nothing short of a constant series of implementing new and improved systems; and I was honored to have been given this opportunity. One of the unofficial mottos at Pacific Estates is that if you are not learning, you are not growing.

David Culen and Stacy Morel have been driving factors in sharing with me what they foresaw for the future of the marketing department at Pacific Estates and I, in turn have been highly motivated to bring their plans to fruition. One thing Stacy and David are really good at, is matching people with roles that align with their skill set. I want to share with you a little bit of my background, my previous role was as the Editor for a magazine that I created in the first half of 2016 called Style Life and Music. You can see it here: https://www.joomag.com/magazine/style-life-and-music-power-issue-apr-may-2016/0694558001459342549.  I have built a career on creating content and packaging it for an audience. I knew that once I joined Keller Williams, I was stepping away from the uncertainty of show business. I had finally found the job of my dreams. I get to do what I love to do. And if you think that real estate agents are in any way not as fun as shooting Hollywood entertainers, you haven’t visited Pacific Estates. The energy here is full of hip modern adults but what’s more, the successes are shared. You will some of the most open people here, eager to share with you their plans and goals. That’s why I was so excited for this next chapter in my career. There is nothing short of mentors and leaders here that will constantly inspire and motivate you, and isn’t that the the key to happiness? I want to close with a quote from the Keller Williams B.O.L.D. Coach, Coach Russ Stewart has said: The greatest form of energy is giving thanks. - Russ Stewart, KW BOLD coach.

These types of things make your career, in whatever field you are in, what I think everyone should strive for in the path they decide to take. I look forward to posting often here. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
