Signal Hill

Signal Hill lies just south of the 405 freeway and is conveniently located southwest of the Long Beach Airport. Nestled atop a hill overlooking southern Long Beach, it was originally established after the discovery of oil in the 1920’s. To add to its already progressive ideologies, Signal Hill elected California’s first female mayor in 1924.
